A leetle bit of Leftist Jew hatred slips out...

Just accidentally, y'know?

San Francisco supervisor Gerardo Sandoval represents the Ingleside District and is famous for sponsoring pro-Palestinian resolutions, leading the charge on motions to impeach President Bush, close down San Francisco's popular ROTC clubs and prohibit military recruiters from having access to San Francisco high school grads.

In his latest crusade,he urged San Franciscans upset over business tycoons suing the city to picket "at their houses in Tiburon and at their bar mitzvahs."

The remarks were made during an appearance before the Harvey Milk Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Democratic Club in San Francisco, a powerful group in San Francisco, as you can imagine. Sandoval was sharing the podium with fellow Supervisor Aaron Peskin, who happens to be Jewish.

The issue before the club was whether the supervisors should have voted to pay $58 million to more than 100 corporations that had sued the city, contending that its business tax was illegal. Sandoval voted against the deal, and Peskin was for it.

In the course of the discussion, Sandoval said that if people wanted to do something about the settlement, they should let business executives know their displeasure by "protesting at their houses in Tiburon and at their bar mitzvahs."

None of the 50 0r so political figures at the meeting said a word...including Peskin.

"I'm just really amazed," fellow Supervisor Mark Leno -- who also is Jewish -- said yesterday.

"How anyone would try and make some connection between the business tax settlement and the Jews completely confounds me and terribly saddens me," Leno said.

Assemblywoman Carole Migden -- who also is Jewish, and a lesbian was also upset at Sandoval's remark and the club's indifferent reaction to it.

"If something racist was said, they would never have let him out of the room," Migden said. "Apparently, we're more assailable."

Indeed you are, Ms. Migden. And high time you and Mr. Leno took a good look at whom you're in bed with, agenda-wise.

Will the SF Board of Supervisors pass a motion to censure or impeach Sandoval? I can't wait to find out.
