Planned Parenthood Leader Resigns After Watching Abortion Ultrasound

Abby Johnson the director of the of Planned Parenthood facility in College Station, Texas resigned after watching the ultrasound of an abortion procedure.

“I just thought I can’t do this anymore, and it was just like a flash that hit me and I thought that’s it,” said Johnson.

She told reporters that part of her decision was that she was told by her superiors at Planned Parenthood to focus on 'bringing abortions in the door' rather than prevention or family planning because of the economy and the money the abortions bring in.

“It seemed like maybe that’s not what a lot of people were believing any more because that’s not where the money was. The money wasn’t in family planning, the money wasn’t in prevention, the money was in abortion and so I had a problem with that,” said Johnson.

She recently joined the Pro-Life organization Coalition For Life, who have an office down the street from Planned Parenthood. Not surprisingly, Planned Parenthood recently hit Johnson and Coalition For Life with a restraining order and threats to sue in an effort to keep her quiet.

That's hardly surprising. More than a third of Planned Parenthood's revenues nationwide come from abortions.
